Dear friend,

We have some exciting news to share!

Did you know that Families Forward Philadelphia began as Travelers Aid Society of Philadelphia back in 1915? As an organization we’ve adapted to meet the needs of our community—now focusing on families experiencing homelessness—and we are excited to share that our services are bringing us full circle, honoring our roots of serving travelers in Philadelphia.

You may know that Families Forward supports a dedicated group of volunteers at 30th Street Station who provide travelers with critical wayfinding and resources (see photo above). We’ve recently expanded into a partnership with our friends at Travelers Aid International to also provide similar and robust services at Philadelphia International Airport.

We are delighted to introduce you to Ebonee Allen, Volunteer Program Coordinator for 30th Street Station Kiosk and Philadelphia International Airport!

Prior to this role, Ebonee was a Residential Assistance Supervisor at Families Forward’s emergency shelter. She is a seasoned program manager with endless compassion for helping others.
Ebonee needs YOU!

Volunteer positions are currently available at both the 30th Street Station Kiosk and at Philadelphia International Airport to assist travelers of all backgrounds in various hospitality-focused ways.

Are you a problem-solver? A lover of travel? Just someone with some spare time on your hands looking to help out?
